• The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
• The train depart every hour from 05:32 to 20:32 with the first train at 04:53 and the last train at 20:59.

Directions from Munich Airport:

• Take the S-Bahn train S1/S8 or the Lufthansa Express Bus from Munich Airport and travel to Munich Central Railway Station
• Then take a connecting train to Garmisch.
• The S1 operates every hour starting from 04:31 till 22:31.

Directions from Memmingen Airport: 

• Take a Bus from Memmingen Allgäu Airport, Memmingerberg to Bahnhof ZOB, Memmingen. 
• The Bus operates starting from 05:25 to 23:25.
• Follow the timetable at  https://int.bahn.de/en to reach Garmisch.
